I know everyone is saying it’s crazy to pick anyone in the first round besides Williams or Maye, that anyone else is just another Tingus Pingus from Lativia.
But DJ is going to be back as the starter for another season, that’s just reality. Is it even a little possible that it’s actually better to use the draft to finally fix the O-line once and for all and then bring in a well regarded veteran to be the new franchise QB? Both Prescott and Goff will still be in the primes of their careers and assuming both are healthy either one is far more proven in the NFL than someone who might be the next RGIII or (God help us) Ryan Leaf.
This has got to be a troll, I think I’m going to overdose on the amount of stupidity in this post. Let’s break this down:
Who’s saying this? If anyone doesn’t know the QBs beyond Williams and Maye, then they just don’t pay attention to college football and look solely at the Top 5 in Mock Drafts and shouldn’t be discussing it.
So you claim that DJ will be the starter, yet think the team should also pursue a veteran? It’s one or the other, you can’t have both.
Also, quit with that O-Line take. We’ve spend plenty of early picks on it and it still sucks.
Because teams are just going to give up QBs in the prime of their careers?
Also, you used Kristaps Porzingus, RG3, and Ryan Leaf as examples in this post. Is your opinion on drafting solely dictated by Draft React and Top 10 Busts videos on YouTube?
