my old dorm room had an ethernet port so i was using my pc wired. however, my new room has one but it isn’t activated and apparently it’s against uni rules to activate it. im using a usb wifi adapter without an antenna right now and it is super laggy. would getting a usb wifi adapter with an antenna or a pcie adapter help my situation. are there any other options?
