Though Chet has been the best rookie objectively, maybe him being snubbed isn’t a bad thing. Just more #ChetFuel (s/o DownToDunk). Yes I know Chet is a dawg and will likely be great regardless and doesn’t need any extrinsic motivation. But Wemby is like 2 years younger and simply going on potential, his length and athleticism (relative to his size) and frame (he really could be like giannis/AD and get a lot stronger while still being more agile and more explosive than other big) there are advantages that Chet doesn’t have. We don’t need him to be better than Wemby and he very well could be.

But MJ and Kobe always loved any reason to feel slighted and hey if Chet doesn’t get what he deserves, its a silver lining. But right now, I’m not even sure wembys the favorite anymore because man Chet really made great use of every second last season, dude isn’t just efficient and versatile as hell, hes already playing winning ball.

Pretty sure wemby will be a center for most of his career. Not sure why the spurs aren’t playing him as one rn. Spurs and him individaully are both better with him at the 5 even during his rookie year so far

100% want Chet to dominate Wemby as well, both individually and winning wise. I legit said in the OP Chet doesn’t need it but hey imagine he deserves to win and doesn’t (which doesn’t take a lot of imagining). Right now he’s nowhere near the best player in the league. Yes his upside is crazy and again he doesn’t need to be that dominant because we have SGA and other great pieces. But sure would be cool
