In all honesty, understand it, Bethesda failed to deliver the promise & punch here, the game needed longer to cook, but I feel after the aqusition from MS/XB, they wanted the game out as soon as, to claim a huge win for XB as a whole, which ultimately led to Starfield being abit of a let down.

Game is ok, but I didn’t finish it, I played for 10 hours, maybe I will give a chance when some good mods come out.

I’ll put it this way. No one is going to be talking about Starfield years from now the way they still talk about Elder Scrolls and Fallout

Starfield getting mixed reviews may be accurate, but for a Bethesda game to not reach positive status means it was a sizable failure.

It was bound to get that way…especially with the comparisons being made with the Neon club vs other clubs in video games being far better and atmospheric. Then you have the fact that the planets are empty wastelands. The Red Mile is super boring where characters don’t even engage with you once you’re done. You just come out and that’s it. No NPC interaction. Security basically having no AI system in place to say anything if you point a gun at them. It’s a very behind game. You can point to games from 15yrs ago that do it better and that’s just not acceptable anymore. If a game from all those years ago is more advanced than your game in 2023, that’s a problem. Even the colors within the game look stale.
