Literally all-new, as in they’ve created new records for the sole purpose of having something to flaunt. They can’t talk about impressive review ratings and testimonials, or great sales figures, so it’s these really weirdly obscure stats.

  1. “More hours per player overall” than the two other MW games - because it has overall less players, so the only ones who bought it are the die hard fans who have more hours to spend on it.

  2. “Most engaging third mode in MW history” - the only other two games with third modes were really rough spec ops modes, this is the first Modern Warfare game with zombies.

  3. “More campaign hours per player” - see (1). Compared to most Call of Duty games where most people buy for multiplayer, the ones buying MW3 are die hard fans who will play all the content. It’s also the only one with replayable open missions, so it’s not comparable to a regular camapign.

Notice none of these figures are even breaking new Call of Duty records, only the last two Modern Warfare games.

This reminds me of when Velma came out and HBO bragged it was the “biggest premiere day for an HBO Max Original Animated series” - when at the time it was the only HBO Max Original animated series.
