2008 VW GTI fuel check valve location

I have a 2008 VW GTI with a 2.0L FSI turbo engine. I am trying to figure out where the fuel check valve is on it and it’s been more difficult than expected via Google. What I have gathered so far is it is either the high pressure or low pressure fuel pump. Does anyone know for sure where it is?
