I just did a search on this sub for people’s FOV and so many comments read, “90 FOV is best I use 90 in all video games always.” Do people get that 90 in this game actually 120 in most other shooters because this game measures in Vert FOV instead of Horizontal? These are comments from the last year too, it is not like it was years ago at launch before we learned how this game measures it. So if you use 90 in this game, that means you would want to use 120 in CoD for example because CoD is measured in Horizontal. I imagine so many gamers who like 90 on CoD or something around 90 are then bumping it up to 90 in this game having no clue that it is a different measurement. Then probably wondering why it looks and feels so weird.
So PSA to all R6 Siegers, google what your FOV should be for a 16:9 display for Vertical FOV because what you use in other shooters will not translate to this game. I am a lover of 95 Horizontal so in this game I run 64 FOV because that is the vertical equivalent.
