I’d ask the dealership why the calipers are priced so high, given that it’s easy to replace and the part’s cheap on most cars. I’m not sure but do your brakes have that fancy computer thing that pushes back the brake pistons for you? The ONLY reason I can think of is that the brake calipers have expensive tech which is a problem given most of its unnecessary.

The dealership once quoted me 2500 to replace the electric steering rack on my car. Just went to Autozone and after the core charge refund I only spent 650 and took six hours of my time to replace. Granted I had the tools to do so.

I never have a dealership fix my cars offsets, ford charged me $600 to change the brakes on my mustang, I got all the parts and did them myself for only $110, what a ripoff, but most dealerships do the job right, theyre just overpriced
