I have a 1TB SSD that I was using on the Steam Deck LCD. I took that SSD out before selling the Deck last week. I have the Steam Deck OLED and I wanna put that 1TB SSD in it. Problem is, I’ve seen posts on here and a tweet from Valve themselves basically confirming that Steam Deck OLED is incompatible with 3.4.x (really hoping I’m wrong but I’m sure I’m not).

The only thing I can think of doing is getting a used Steam Deck from GameStop, putting the SSD in there, updating it to 3.5, taking it out, putting the stock SSD back in and returning it but that sounds unethical, expensive and complicated.

Is there an easier way of doing it (e.g. via an m.2 enclosure) or will I have to live without my tweaks, configurations, non-Steam games, save data, etc.?
