I started when the game first released and played on and off before taking a long break. In the time I learned several characters as I tried to play what the situation needed. Returning to OW2 recently doing Mercy’s time trial trying to collect all the icons I found out hitting O (on PS) when flying towards a locked target booped you upwards and lets you float easier.

Yea… though I was never a Mercy main my mains far as healers before were Zen and Moira. I certainly used Mercy enough games and felt dumb just finding this out recently lol

I only found out recently that healing with a direct shot with baptiste heals more than just healing the ground around a teammate

Maybe not what you’re asking for exactly and maybe a little silly. But a real game changer for me was once I figured out it was best for me to main heroes that I enjoy playing, even when losing. Seeing as though I’m going to lose 45-50% of my matches I need to to play heroes that I enjoy during that 45-50%. I went from having fun only 50% of the time to always having fun. So now I avoid heroes that I only enjoy while winning.
