I’m referring to PC’s date informing her that he’s the “only albino rhino gyno he knows”. I admit that one rhinoceros not knowing any others in his profession isn’t necessarily damning. However, I would expect an albino rhino gyno to know more albino rhinos and more gynecologists than the average person, you know?
Does the fact that he’s never encountered another person who shares both of these traits point to anything other than this particular man just doesn’t do much socialising in his own profession? Is there a genuine scarcity of albino rhinos in this world? And if so, why?
I do love all the little morbid jokes about how horrifying a world that looks like ours but is full of talking animals would be.
Like of course there would be a history of racism and genocide between cats and mice. It’s just logical in a really awful way.
