It’s often written and mention that after the car battery degradation reaches a critical point, still has a valid use case as battery for our homes, charging from solar for example.

But can it really? A battery 15 years old, let’s say at 70% of the original stage, can it be use safely and reliably?

Not to mention the size, structure and specs were made for fitting inside a car and not for a home.
