I have a friend like this and I think it’s a bit strange. I’m neutral so I’ll watch any game, I particularly like watching good teams play each other.
I pretty much only watch Udinese games in full but if there’s an important match up other than us or a game I bet on I watch that too :)
I watch my team mostly but will watch other games to see how players are performing. Also, I bet on games here and there and I’ll often want to know if my results come through, so it’s an incentive to watch.
Otherwise, I enjoy watching Wrexham and other lower teams. It’s just a way of seeing how teams are progressing in general.
Support Man U so obviously i watch all their games but i love watching teams in the top 6-8 of the table too except for when Man city plays a weak side.
As a Chelsea fan, I usually watch 2 matches a weekend. The Chelsea match, and an intriguing Premier League match on the other day of the weekend.
I’ll sometimes watch 3 if Chelsea play on the same day as a massive match elsewhere. For example, this weekend, I plan to watch City-Liverpool and Newcastle-Chelsea on Saturday, then Spurs-Villa on Sunday.
Yes, football is more enjoyable when I notice patterns developing. It’s easy to do that when watching 1-2 games a week. Lately it’s been Chelsea and Arsenal. Chelsea being my team and Arsenal being a team that I know a lot of my friends support.
As someone who loves the game, whilst zealously supporting my club obviously, I watch other football as well, that is the EPL, Bundesliga, La Liga and a bit of the Serie A.
I watch every match my club play and then any other decent games that are on. And I’m pretty broad with the term “decent”.
I’m a Chelsea fan but I’ll usually watch any games that are readily available to watch on tv, so watch a lot of the other premier league games on tv that weekend, as well as some of the bigger Serie A, La Liga and Bundesliga matches
