Bad experience with ChargePoint Home Flex - Do not recommend!!!

My charger stopped connecting to WiFi after about 7 months, I’ve been working with their customer service to get a refund since the 16th of October to no avail. After numerous e-mail and phone exchanges the best I can get out of them is repeated promises that the claim will be escalated to another team that never have yet to come to fruition.

A quick google search reveals that this is not a new issue, there are similar claims on myriad forums going back years about failed WiFi connections and lengthy return processes. I would highly recommend avoiding this company for home charging based on their customer service alone.

Are you sure that wiif connection at your garage is adequate? Mine required an extender for example. Otherwise devices in garage was unreliable (camera, door opener, smart valve so on).

What I would try is to get another phone as hotspot and reset your charger, then try with the hotspot network. If that works you now know problem is your wifi.

The antenna on the charger isn’t so great btw. It is the only device in my garage with a weak connection.

WiFi signal is definitely not the problem, my garage has a dedicated access point with Ethernet backhaul. Every other device in there has strong signal.
