Jakob was just signed to a multi-year deal making 19.5 million/yr, after the Raptors gave up a 1st and two 2nds last year.
He was just completely out classed and outplayed by Goga Bitadze, who was released last year by the Pacers and signed off waivers to be the Magic’s back up center. Goga’s on a team-option this year for 2mil (and can shoot FTs).
Fun side note: Jakob has almost the exact same career statistics as Mason Plumlee on the Clippers with a 5mil/yr deal. You could say it’s undervalue, but Mason is too slow to defend the perimeter and can’t score outside of 10 feet. Much like Jak.
Fun times to be a fan.
We only have three problems with this team, that’s all: our front office, our starters and our bench. Other than that, it’s fine.
You’re know nothing about basketball if you think Goga is good and close ro Jak.
