Fair warning, I’m not exactly football savvy, so forgive me if it’s a stupid question.

He was released by the Colts today. Is there any reason he should be on our radar? I know nothing about him but he seems to be a great player.

Cant hurt on a short deal after he becomes a free agent.

If he has actually lost a step then no loss its short term if he is actually to form then we got a pro bowl LB.

People saying he publicly complained thats a bit much unless im missing something all he said was that he didn’t know why he wasn’t playing more. In response to being asked…

All this smack-talking aside, he got cut because he wasn’t happy with his snap count but as of right now he hasn’t returned to form from his injury thing. Picking him up now would just put him in another situation like he just got out of.

After an offseason of recovery he might be worth a prove-it deal. I don’t think he fits the current Lions roster mentally or physically.

No. He’d be a 3rd stringer on our defense. Colts are still on the playoff hunt and they still cut him, that says a lot. He’s not the same player he used to be unfortunately after his injury plus we need Campbell to develop, once he does. May got have mercy on the opposing offenses soul. Campbell and ANALZONE making tackles and in coverage via Campbell just sounds like hell

He’s not coming here to earn his way up from the practice squad and that’s exactly what they’d want outta him. We’ve got the veteran role in the LB room held down with Anzalone and even Shep falls under that umbrella imo
