    Do a self assessment and see how many times you wear a sneaker every year. Get rid of the ones you havent worn the past year or you think would not go to your daily rotation.

    If you have pairs you only get to wear 1-2 times a year, your collection might be too big

    When you keep struggling to pay your rent. That was me in my 20s while sitting on 100+ pairs. I’m 42 now, still collect, and don’t do that stupid shit now.

    Some of them have to be functional. I don’t want a million shoes that are uncomfortable and mainly for show and I can’t get anything on them. I’d trade in some retros for shoes I could actually hoop in.

    When you run out of places to put them. I recently found a pair that I forgot I had because I stuffed it under my computer desk behind the drawer. LOL!
