So what are the Wizards going to do about Johnny Davis? They in full rebuild and still won’t play him. Why not trade him ot cut him? He not going to get reps during a full rebuild, then I don’t see a reason for him on the roster.

    Maybe he gets playing time later, maybe not.

    It’s not that big a concern.

    He’s on a rookie contract. You have to give money to somebody and have someone on the end of the bench.

    He’s getting around 5 million. They gave Taj Gibson 3 million just to play in the preseason.

    Denying that JD is a bust and wanting to trade Bilal like 5 games in leaves me no choice but to believe that you have some exotic DC crack from the 80s stashed away somewhere.

    1. the FO does not dictate rotations. That’s WUJ’s job.

    2. WUJ doesn’t play Davis because there are more competent guards on the roster. He’ll get opportunities when injuries happen or after trades are made.

    3. All those other guards are on the roster because they have some kind of potential to be traded for assets. Someone has to be the odd man out, and that’s JD.
