You know what? I’m actually optimistic about our team winning a big game, let’s take it to the champs and put the league/media on notice!
I’m going tonight, so I watched them play the Pistons the other night to see where they’re at this season. Without Jokic or Murray they’re genuinely a team adrift. Aimless possessions ending in bad bailout 3s kind of adrift. If we don’t wilt energy-wise from the back to back, I think our bench can punch them in the mouth at the least. If we can put a lid on Jokic, this is a very winnable game.
Looking forward to seeing how Goga goes. Could really go either way, likely not super great. If somehow he can keep Joker below his averages, i’ll be sending an email, it won’t get read but i’ll send it anyway….
They dont have murry, jokic also not at his absolute best with his injury so it‘s doable. I say it‘s 35/65 we got this. Not a bad odd if you ask me
They are injured so that makes it a little easier, also passing teams do bad against us… hopefully we can slow jokic down on ball and just nullify his passing by lurking the lanes.
Sure why not
Looking at the upcoming games I honestly thought the Raptors would be a tougher matchup than the Nuggets. Even if Jokic goes for 50, we can out-compete and run them off the floor. And all evidence suggests that we should handily win the bench battle.
The again I also thought we’d struggle against the Pacers. So what do I know.
Wish we had WCJ back for this game. Goga is great so far, but wcj is a certified Joker “stopper” (you can not really stop him, but wcj does best at slowing him down)
Hopefully AG has worked off all his revenge energy and doesn’t go off again here.
Only thing I’m worried about is Jokic being on fire since he got ejected from their last game. Other than that, I really think we can hold our own at every position. Also I really liked Goga setting guys up and paolo playing decoy at times. Teams don’t really see that coming.
