All real life laws and logic apply.

You have 24 hours to modify your car before departure, so mods must be reasonable within the time frame, no v10 swapped awd civics for example, logistically impossible in 24 hours.

Police activity matters, but you’re working for the feds so the local police won’t cross state lines, leaving a jurisdiction could get them off you, states with no pursuit laws can work in your favor, etc.

Refueling is required, gas mileage matters, EV might be risky with charge times. Running E85 might be to sparse to run.

You can deviate from i90, but it’s the fastest route so riding purely backroads probably won’t suffice

2 goon cars will pursue you every 8 hours. They drive new base Mercedes G wagons and C class’s

You can have as many companions as your car has seats, feel free to take a 4 seat sedan with 3 pals ready to blast some goons if you have to.

You depart tomorrow, so weather is a factor, expect freezing temperatures at some points in certain states. You’ll see rain, dry pavement, maybe icy roads or snow.

Personally I’d likely choose some sort of low key, moderately fuel efficient sedan/suv/wagon with AWD, and enough pep to not get easily chased down on the highway. Maybe a generic tuned BMW 330xi with variable boost. If I follow my heart though, I’m taking a new M5 comp

23 Ford Raptor R. Quick tune to remove the speed limiter. Put an upgrades fuel tank in the OEM position(36 gal to 42gal) plus install a 100gal take on the bed. Upgrade the wheels to full beadlocks and run flats 37s Install radar defeat device and escort 360max. Also night vision display and camera. Light bar and rack system for extra fuel pods if needed. Under the good put a ARB dual compressor to airing up if needed. Also upgrade the oil and trans cooler with a quick flush system for both so new fluids and be swapped when refilling with a flip of the switch. Remove the back seat for more run.

With these upgrades I would guess you could get 1,100+ range out of the 142 tank combo. With speed well over 100+ with the night vision it would be possible to run for both normal and extreme conditions at speed needed to cut down the distances. When running at night turn off the lights and flip on the infrared light bar and drive in the dark.
