I know everyone wants a WR and I agree we need more than Thielen but there’s only so much cap space and draft picks. We need to invest heavily in our OL this offseason to take some of the pressure off Bryce. Maybe then we could actually do some of our longer plays and our receivers wouldn’t look as bad. I know building your lines isn’t sexy so Tepper probably won’t want to do it but that’s how you win football. If we build our O line and sign another veteran mid tier WR I think it would work a lot better than trying to get a star WR and not having an O line.
You’re not going to find Tackles better than Moton and Ikey or a center better than Bozeman on the market or in the draft w/o a high pick, There’s a huge talent deficiency around the league at OL. Bryce needs to improve at handling the pressure. The play calling needs to be different. You’re having Bryce drop back out of gun every play. It’s too predictable, He’s a sitting duck. Put him under center, have him hand the ball off, run play action off that…keep him out of the drop back passing game, that’s when the protection has been really bad.
