Hello! I have the iphone 15pro and it is configurated to HEIC files for pictures. This doesnt work well with my computer. I know that i can change it to JPG (more compatible option), but i wonder if the loss of quality is significant? Will i notice a lot of difference between a picture saved as HEIC and a picture saved as JPG?

I’m not a professional, just someone who likes to take great pictures of my puppy… nevertheless that’s why I bought the PRO for better camera. Will i miss out a lot on quality by setting it to JPG instead of Heic (noticably for ‘just me’, not professionals/experts).

(I don’t edit my pictures etc)

Thanks!

Jpeg is better for sending to places and uploading, some badly designed websites might not support heic.

Use heic if you want, most apps will offer to convert if it’s unsupported
