Vikings have always been one of the more likable teams for me. From their unis to the players I have always liked them. But damn, since we got Payton and just beat them on SNF all they seem to do is hate on us and complain about that game and it’s destroying their likability to me.
Go lurk in their community and you will see how much they still despise Payton and just can’t handle the fact that he beat them. With the only reason the Broncos won is because of the no call on Kjax helmet to helmet. Or Singleton not getting called for helmet to helmet. Not because of the turnovers forced by the Broncos D. And no KJax did not force that fumble. Ball was moving before he got there.
It’s football. These hits happen on both sides but yet they aren’t called everytime. I’m sure we could go game by game and find a player who didn’t get flagged or fined for a hit similar to KJax. Im not saying these hits are acceptable and should be allowed but quit acting like that one hit is the reason the Broncos won. Vikings lost because of their Oline struggles, inability to hold onto the ball and running out a back up QB (albeit he is playing like a starter).
I am 100% with Simmons on this. NFL seems to be targeting KJax due to his history and have a huge lack of consistency when making these calls/fines. It should never be about prior history in regards to getting fined. Suspension yes. But please start fining other players with similar hits.

I mean the Vikings do have solid reasoning for hating Sean Payton. Sean Payton and Gregg Williams literally cheated them out of a Super Bowl.
They also had 3 turnovers to our 0 and we still only won by 1 point. I think if Kirk played as well, we would have lost.
Fun fact about the Vikings. They’ve never won a goddamn thing. Haven’t been to a Super Bowl since 1977, when they lost. One of the all time loser franchises, yet their fans talk about their team like they’ve won 10 SBs. Incredibly annoying fan base.
I have quite a few Minnesota friends and my wife is from Detroit and a huge Lions fan. Every time they start talking shit to her about football and how shitty the Lions are I love shitting them down with facts. It really pisses them off when you point out that they’ve won as many super bowls as the lions, and have been to the same amount since 1977. Purple people eaters, please.
Bro… I’m a Saints fan, and we live rent free in Vikings heads all the time. There is even a large portion of them who hate us more than the Packers. Which is insane. They’re the only fanbase I know that goes on other teams subs to either brag when they’re winning, or bitch and moan when they are losing. For real, even the Falcons don’t come on the Saints sub to do that. They cry bountygate all the time, despite the fact their very own team had their own bounty program. The hypocrisy of them is unmatched. It’s truly astounding.
