Why is our dominate center shooting fade aways to close the game? I think he’s trying to make a highlight reel, but his best shot is stepping up and shooting it face to the basket. If you’re 7 ft you shouldn’t need to spin and fade away.
That’s a good look. Not a bad shot. Jo moves because he is a rhythm shooter. Nothing wrong with that finish except the result.
not to mention his tendency to shoot 3s. like i know he can make it but i can’t remember the last time i’ve actually seen him drain a 3 in game.
Probably tired and wanted to take a shot he knew he could get off with a reasonable chance of making, especially with a game the next day.
Had this thought too. He’s also too damn sloppy with handling the ball and thus turning it over. An awful lot of unforced turnovers come from him, he has 3 at half time last night
He normally makes those shots but the higher probability move would have been to take it to the hoop. If he does not make it to the hoop, he would probably get fouled.
He’s always done it. He always will. As big and dominant as he is at times, he’ll always be mentally weak and therefore refuse to do the hard shit, like work to get a tough bucket in the clutch. Fade away midranges are easy…muscling into the paint and going up strong isn’t.
Was this the first sixers game youve watched?
Conditioning. When he’s tired he gets sloppy and doesn’t want to be in the paint. It needs to change… my man needs to be working out… not just playing basketball.
