BOE used to be worse than Samsung but they’ve improved massively since then.
Do most 512 glossy have Samsung and most LE BOE?
All 512gb oled has Samsung panels. It’s only Limited Edition who only has BOE panels.
Valve cannot supply from the same supplier to ship into two region, so each region has to have panels made by different companies due to legal issues.
Just checked my OLED LE, I also got BOE 04 30.

512 OLED here. Have the same Samsung panel, 03 30! Yay! No dead pixels either.
Same here, looks like 512gb oled buyers did draw the “winner” in the lottery.
What I’ll be curious on is the longevity of both panels, but it’ll be a loooong time til we see that.
