When the Celtics traded for KP and then Jrue, I feel like any many other were curious as to where Brown’s fit offensively was going to be in the lineup with them adding more high usage players. Brown a lot of times already had trouble finding his fit when it was just Smart and Tatum. So far this season (albeit a small sample size) it seems like he’s been struggling figuring where to pick his spots. Would putting him in a similar position to Ray Allen (not comparing players or skill sets) when he joined the Celtics possibly suit him better. Ray Allen was a 3 level scorer and a primary ball handler before coming to the Celtics where his role changed immensely playing next to Pierce, Garnett, and Rondo. Do you think having him mainly try to score on off ball screens or floppy actions would help him fit in the better. Less dribbling more of a finishing role, making him less prone to live ball turnovers, traveling, driving in traffic, etc. I have liked him and KP’s connection on the court so far also. Curious to hear your guys’ thoughts. Thanks!
