Many many months ago I tried to use my SD and it wasn’t working. Black screen. The power on noise would beep. The fan would start smelling nice but the screen would remain black. I contacted Steam who went through a few different steps to try and get it going again but it didnt work and ultimately them sent they advised me to send back for a replacement.

The last few months life got in the way, I forgot about it. My warranty is next month so I decided to get it sent back this week. I brought it to work and decided to connect it to my dock at work…just to see what happens. Strangely, the SD started showing on my external monitors.

Does anyone know what may cause this? If there is setting I need to alter. I am bringing a dock home in hope of being able to fix it. Has anyone had the same issue and have they managed to fix it ?
