I wish we could get a 4 game win streak over the next 4 weeks like Washington did 3 years ago, but probably not.
This used to be the greatest rivalry in the NFL. A few years ago, given the same records we have today, I would have said the game was 50/50. Emotion plays nearly as big a factor in the game as the actual team’s skill, and back in the day this rivalry brought out the warrior in everyone.
Now though, I’m nearly certain we’re going to get demolished. There’s no emotion left in our team, only resignation. Resignation that this will be another year that’s been over since Week 7 and nothing’s changed – just more of the same.
I’ll be happy if we don’t embarrass ourselves, but at this point I’m not expecting much.
