Hey everyone found a website that allows for 32 team mock drafts. The trades aren’t super explorable, but they aren’t terrible. I know we still have several weeks of live football to look forward too, and this MOCK is only if the order stays the same. I truly hope we win anywhere between one and to three more games.

1.02 - Marvin Harrison JR, WR - As if this needed any explanation. Is MHJ the prince that was promised? If Michael Wilson can develop into a strong hands guy, and we can utilize Rondale Moore in the short game - we could put Marquise on the deep routes he was always meant to succeed at without being a high volume guy. MHJ could be the reliable 150+ target hog that Kyler adores. Between MHJ Michael Wilson and Trey Mcbride our receiving corp would theoretically be hard to stop. Scheme is the biggest question.

1.21 - Kalen King, CB - Clearly our biggest issue on defense is our ability to defend the pass and not have wide receivers and tight ends running rampant. Kalen King is an enforcer at CB with reliable hands.

2.14 (46 Overall) Kris Jenkins, IDL - Between BJ Ojulari, Zaven Collins, and Dennis Gardeck - along with a solid scheme, we may have solved some of the pass rush problems. However, teams have been able to run all over us. Ideally a big bodied interior defensive linemen to cover some gaps would help anchor some of the weakness.

3.02 (64 Overall) Sedrick Van Pran, IOL - Offensive Line depth always seems like something that comes up. Pressure from the middle is hard to deal with, and while we may have gotten our anchor eventually on the left with Paris Johnson JR this last draft. I think SVP would be a great addition to our line. He’s a proven winner coming from the Georgia Oline

3.08 (70 Overall) Ruke Orhorhoro, IDL - I think the best defensive schemes in football right now have a plethora of good-great defensive lineman they can rotate in and out. I think Monti would want to build our roster from the inside out. From the trenches outward. Gannon schemed up the Eagle’s Defense using a rotation of guys. Between Orhorhoro and Jenkins, not to mention the guys on the roster already we could have a strong from that would be harder to run on.

3.16 (78 Overall) Tommy Eichenberg, ILB - Someone needs to be able to come in behind these big bodied defensive linemen and make the tackles. Eichenberg has traditional size and is a multi year starter for the Buckeyes and should have good instincts for the NFL.

3.24 (86 Overall) Braelon Allen, RB - Whenever James Conner has to miss games due to injury we never seem to have a good back to be able to be the bruiser we want them to be. Braelon Allen graduated HS early to play college ball early. He has good hands when given the opportunity and has amazing size and speed. This last year in college has been kind of a disappointment where he was one of the best backs in the nation when he was only 18. If he could recapture the magic behind an NFL line it could make for an amazing combo.

5.06 (133 Overall) Khyree Jackson, CB - He is a large, fast, fluid player who could defend passes against taller competition. Could be a depth piece, could be a starter.

5.11 (138 Overall) Javion Cohen, IOL - He is a bit light and might have trouble against some of the pass rushers in the NFC west, but has played multiple roles along the offensive line. Some of our current starters are getting up there in age and it would not be a bad thing to begin transitioning and preparing for the future.

5.32 (159 Overall) Julian Pearl, OT - With picks these late we are hoping for solid depth pieces. At 6’6 Julian Pearl is a big big man with great length and maneuverability. He helped lead his team to one of the top rushing attacks in their conference. Has started 11 out of 12 games at Left Tackle.

6.09 (168 Overall) Zy Alexander, CB - Another large, fast CB. Two years removed from a six interception season. The man has great hands and can tackle well.

7.32 (224 Overall) Tykee Smith, S - I think we should be looking for starters in every round of the draft. Tykee Smith could be a great piece to swap in and out in the Nickel defense. Could be a reliable starter if others get injured.
