We are told to separate business money from personal, and the best way is to use a business bank account.

From what I understand, business bank accounts are not tied to the person’s SSN but rather the businesses’s EIN (as anyone playing a role in the business can apply for the business bank account on behalf of the business).

So a serial entrepreneur that has multiple business, starting new businesses regularly, and abandoning those that fail - will have multiple business bank accounts for each business. Will this negatively affect the application for future business bank accounts?

Not sure if it has anything to do with this, but if someone has multiple personal credit cards, it come across as a good thing; not sure if that applies here as well.

Not sure if chexsystem plays a part here too as I’ve only heard of chexsystem in the personal space and not business.
