What’s preventing lethality being tied to melee only? I see the new assassin items and lethality scaling changes, and can just envision a repeat of Eclipse era ADCs all over again and then assassins being dumpstered because ADC are abusing lethality items. We’re already seeing this trend with uninteractive lethality ADC builds (Cait, Jhin, Jinx) making a return because attack speed/crit builds feel underwhelming and take too long to ramp up.
Would locking lethality to melee only be that bad? I only really see Quinn being affected, and maybe that just warrants her bland kit being updated anyway. Thoughts?

Bad idea imo. Making more restrictions just lowers build diversity.
