This is a common occurrence for me since I don’t have much time to play. I often get about halfway through and then stop playing for months. When I come back to it I always want to start from the beginning and then the cycle happens again.
One example for me is Fallout 4
Skyrim, I always end up on long breaks from the game and then deciding to restart it
ANNO 1800, Cities Skylines, and Satisfactory
Ditto on fallout 4. I think I have a single play through that’s at the second to last quest
Assassins creed origins
Hollow knight I don’t know man I tried to enjoy it I just can’t it didn’t really click for me
Diggles the myth of fenris
Metal gear solid the phantom pain
Love the game but lose steam I think about 3 quarters of the way through because there is just so much and I always feel the need to do every side objective
tetris
I’ve started Skyrim about 5 times but never really gotten anywhere in it.
I’ve re-started Resident Evil 5 from beginning about 10 times and just haven’t been able to drag my way all the way through. I’m about 2/3 of the way completed at this latest stage.
Witcher 3. It has so much praise that i constantly true it again and again but just hate the gameplay. Combat feels so clunky. I cant get on with it
Baldurs gate 3
Persona 3 FES is where all of my guilt lies. Over the past ten years I swear I’ve started it up 3 or four times now. Never even made it far enough to see Aigis yet! Going to change that with Persona 3 Reload though! *fingers crossed*
Not a game, but Demon Slayer’s Manga
Just about every assassin’s creed except Black Flag. 🤣.
Shadow of Mordor and Dying Light 1.
I’ve started both about 4/5 times and just really struggle to get into them. Really want to finish them though as I was to play their sequels as well.
