This offense has been too careful, too conservative. That’s why they don’t score points, it’s also why Kenny doesn’t have many interceptions but also has a horrible QBR. If this offense is going to grow and make big plays, and actually pass the ball effectively, there needs to be some risk acknowledged in that. So I expect growing pains, and I welcome them with open arms.

You know I’d rather him start throwing more completions down the field but if you want Interceptions I have a few teams that throw interceptions like candy you could watch

If he starts throwing INTs he will be benched.

That’s the cardinal sin of the Steelers offense.

For reference: We did let Kenny throw late in the game against Cleveland with the score tied 10-10.

We know how that worked out.

Hopefully having Canada gone stops his regression and has him reverting to what he was last season. That was still below average, but it seemed like he was at least able to move the ball through the air between the 20s.

Title should be “Kenny Pickett needs to not be afraid of interceptions.”

I wouldn’t condone actually aiming for more interceptions

Until he starts throwing touchdowns, he needs to at least check us into better runs.

I am fine with safe throws but dude is cheeks and missing those or throwing those late where guys can’t make plays.

Our defense can absolutely handle a turnover or two if it means actually scoring points somewhat consistently, so I agree. The offense is far too conservative and it was a breath of fresh air hearing that the new OC team want to throw over the middle. Hit Muth in the middle, have Najee or Warren ready for dump offs. That keeps drives moving. Why is this so complicated?
