Just wanna run a poll on Hawks fans. I used to be an extreme Geno hater but I thought about this logically. We have Metcalf, Lockett, JSN, Bobo, Walker, Charbonnet, and we are struggling on offense. It HAS to be on the OC, right?

If it was as simple as Geno being bad, it would be alot more obvious

If the personnel is good and the product is bad. It’s the OC.

That’s what we’re seeing. Geno hasn’t been a franchise QB but I find it hard to believe that every member of our offense fails to perform and has major miscommunications every game and it’s Geno’s fault.

The inability to adjust the gameplan to attack defenses doesn’t evolve. They just keep the same plan throughout.

No disrespect intended, but I don’t understand why fans have to pinpoint a single blame for on-field struggles. I like Waldron’s scheme but it raises the question why this offense isn’t excelling considering all the weapons available. Geno has definitely shown signs of regression, but also flashes of his 2022 self. Pass blocking has been above average at times, but pass pro has regressed. I know it’s not the most fun answer, but I’m quite certain it’s a combination of things

Carroll… it has and always will be Carroll. Waldron comes from a center of the field usage type of offense, and Geno is money throwing in the center. Look at our numbers and we are at the lowest, because Pete ball is bomb it down the field ball. Sweep plays, a cornerstone of the Ram offense… We have running backs that can do it… We always run up the A gap, classic Pete ball. Don’t get me started on his influence on the D and our lack of blitz. The issue is Pete. The NFL has figured out how to stop Pete ball, but we just keep running it out under his tyranny.
