Hello everyone, I’m traveling up to Buffalo with a group of buddies for the Bills vs. Cowboys game. Just looking for suggestions on things to do, places to eat, places to see, etc. We like breweries, local eats. I myself enjoy a good local coffee and local burger. We are not the obnoxious and annoying cowboys fans you hear about on TV. We travel to an away game each year and everywhere we go we like to get in as much of the city as we can. Now we do support our team and do engage in friendly banter but we don’t get stupid like eagles fans. Please drop your suggestions if you’d like to help us enjoy your city. Thanks!

Bar Bill is a must. Wayland brewery was fantastic. If you feel like heading to Niagra, the Falls were majestic. Did learn that beer and liquor are in different stores so keep that in mind

Everyone has opinions and all that… but here’s mine:

    Bar Bill/Duffs for wings

Bar Bill/Charlie the butcher for beef on weck

There are a few breakfast spots that do Dutch babies. I don’t necessarily think that’s a Buffalo thing, but yeah. Seek those out.

There are a few places that do awesome doughnuts, too.

Agree pizza is good, though folks in Buffalo hype it a little too much. NY style is king, but that cup pepperoni 🤌🏻. I think there are plenty of options, but bocce club is pretty standard Buffalo style pizza.

There are no shortage of breweries, but flying bison is a good place to start.

Also, if you want that late night “I hate myself” meal, mighty taco can fill that void.

Be prepared to wait for good wings/food. Places get crowded on gameday.

Enjoy the tailgate experience. Always had a lot of fun in the lots.

Thank you all so much. If any of you are out and want to hang, or put one of use through a table just look for the luchador masks and huge foam cowboy hat. That’ll be us 😂

Ah some more Cowboy Fans. My parents won’t be alone haha. There will be plenty of Cowboys fans there, as sad as it is for the Bills Mafia. Dallas is always a team that travels well.

My Gameday advice is, before the game, hit either Wegman’s or DiBellas for a nice filling sub pre-game, then hit the stadium, party hard, and then hitting a wing joint post game. Duffs, Gabriel’s Gate, Bar Bill, Elmo’s, or even Anchor Bar. doesn’t matter, all better than what you got at home. Some Buffalonians in here may fight me on that remark, but i’m also an out-of-towner so we take every chance we can to eat wings in Buffalo. they’re different there.

My last piece of food advice is to hit one of the Ted’s Hot Dog locations. They’ve stayed around the WNY area so long for a reason (and a single location in Arizona for some fuckin reason lmao.)

As for things to do, best i can give you is to go down to the Buffalo and Erie County Naval and Military Park right on the water downtown. you can walk on a couple of ships used in wars, and learn a little about Naval History. Super cool to me.

Also, Depending on how long you’re in town, you could always go see the Sabres play the Blue Jackets in what i could only describe as the hockey equivalent of a dull and rusted knife fight. Seats in the 100 section currently going for as low as $50.

Regardless though, enjoy your visit. Hopefully the Cowboys lose and all goes well for us.

I love how everyone hated anchor bar for being a tourist trap and now Bar Bill is the biggest tourist trap in the city.
