So the honeymoon stage of owning my (2018 M4 30k miles is over and I’ve kinda been judging the car a lot more honestly it feels like it’s as fast as my previous 330i I mean feels almost identical except suspension steering and trans. So I took my dad for ride in it today he is not a car enthusiast at all he drives a standard v6 suv and a older ford truck not into cars never owned a “fast sporty car” and he was telling me he wanted to see it go so I did some pulls and what not and he wasn’t impressed at all was nice about it. But I think it confirmed my theory of it being like my 330i as it came from someone who doesn’t give a shit about hp 0-60 etc. I mean the car isn’t slow but again feels like my turboed 330i. Could it be a possibility the previous owner has a shitty tune on the car or is this something all you guys have noticed in the m4 f82’s? Of course the first two months of ownership loved it no complaints but as I got used to it and drove it in m2 more often I feel like I should have gotten a lot more out of a M4 I mean it’s supposed to be a top of the line BMW. I didn’t want to have to tune upgrade the crank hub mod it out. I would have bought a 435 or something similar. Just idk very un impressed with it this car has struggled to keep up with gt’s Audis and other common sporty cars when cutting up and roll racing. (Don’t do it often and mostly for fun for a couple seconds) but I noticed it seems slow which is weird when all I heard from everyone was how it’s the ultimate driving machine super fast etc before buying the car. Especially when I came from a single turbo inline 4? Feel like I should notice a difference. So my question is is this how the car is or could there be a problem lmk your thoughts on stock f82’s.
