Admittedly, I stink at paying attention to the OL, especially in passing situations. What’d y’all think?

Monty’s game winning TD was over LG where he was lined up. Sorsdal didn’t exactly root his defender out of the hole but he did escort him up the field and out of the play.

I love using the phrase “escort him”, like this enormous man just said “Right this way sir, please follow me”

    Like a 5th round rookie.

Clearly struggled some plays, others held up pretty good. But he’s definitely a high effort guy who learns. I think he will he a guy who sticks in the roster. Will he be a starter? Maybe

I didn’t go play by play, but it sound like he was not good. He allowed four pressures, and PFF had him as the lowest-graded player on offense.

On run plays he looked good, but in pass protection he looked bad. All 3 of Goffs interceptions he was getting pressured by the guy Sorsdal was blocking. He never let anyone through, but he did get pushed back into the pocket often.

You can tell he had that William & Mary strength regiment. I suspect next year he will be in a much better spot.
