We simply don’t got perimeter defense and the bigs didn’t do anything to make up for our nonexistent perimeter d. I do think we will develop more chemistry and find an identity a bit later this season and then we can start competing with the top of the league, but right now as of today, beating the Celtics is not something we cannot realistically do. Let’s get us a good perimeter defender and let’s get us an identity, then we will be scary.
Agreed that the loss was expected. Also feels like we shouldn’t be gaslighting ourselves into accepting 23 missed shots in the paint. Very ugly loss in a winnable game overall.
