Rebecca and her Dutchman, Jan Maas giving the interview, the team’s argument and Isaac’s outrage, Will & Higgins’s jazz adventure, the people at the restaurant not knowing what Chicago is, Jamie teaching Roy how to ride a bike on stolen bikes, Colin and Trent bonding emotionally and then drinking vanilla vodka together, and the scene in the bus at the end??? Please

From Jamie and Roy bonding to the Dutchman, from the team finally getting a pillow fight to Ted figuring out total football, it is just perfection in every scene.

Rainbow is my favorite but Sunflowers was by far the best S3 episode and the only one that got close to capturing the spirit and quality of S1-2.

I was already watching Ted Lasso when I saw this post. Now I’m watching a delightful season 1 episode while fondly thinking of and looking forward to my favorite episode. Thanks for that!

Sunflowers has everyone revert to a child version of themselves or a younger version of themselves. Almost everyone.

Ted reconnects with his love for his home and memories of his father.

Rebecca experiences flirting with a man who has no idea who she is, like back before she was famous.

The team ends up playing like kids, having a pillow fight.

Roy thinks of his grandfather and learns to cycle to honor his memory.

Jamie shares with Roy his good and bad memories of his parents and Amsterdam from when he was underage.

Higgins fullfills his dream regarding his passion for playing his favorite music instrument.

Beard clearly travels back to 1970s.

The only person who actually has a stereotypical Amsterdam experience is Will.
