I’m seeing people saying “Jude masterclass” when he was quite bad and non existent for most of the match. Kudos for the goals and the 3 points but football social media is gone. Anyone else feel this way?

It’s true, not only Jude but none of the attacking players played well but at the end the result matters and you’ve to give credit to Jude for trying such a shot in his first Classico while being 1-0 down. The second goal looks simple but his positioning was even better than striker Joselu.

He didn’t have a full game masterclass but he did what was needed and at the end got 3 points away to Barca

You must have a reason to feel he was non existent in the game and that’s perfectly fine, imo however he was at the right place at the right time - a skill as great as any, scored the all important goal and saw his team prevail. I’d say he is a generational talent who had a great game, and I’m a Barca supporter. I also feel that objectivity or partisanship in football have been pretty much the same across the years, despite the sea change in socio-political culture, and again that’s just my opinion.

Im a barca fan, and even i will agree bellingham played great. He pulled a goal out of his ass like messi in the 2022 world cup, then nutmegged mats (one of the best keepers in the world). Im not even scared of mbappe anymore, its this guy.

When it comes to big matches fans in general get dramatic about the winning team. Winning against Barcelona is a difficult thing to do. Tbh without injuries there’s no way Madrid would have won. Anyway. Madrid fans are also dramatic.
