This team has one of the worst NBA defenses I’ve ever seen. My god. Trae may be back, but we’ll have the exact season we had last year and the year before just always around .500 if we can’t fix the defense

    Exactly what I was thinking happy we won but not happy with the performance. We need to get some defense in here bad.

    Ok…so I am not going crazy either then. Trae looks to me most nights as good a defender as most on our team if not better. I just dont see this so called “great perimeter defender” defence from Dejounte. Hunter is solid enough but nothing special. JJ is up/down like OO and Capela too. Bogi and Bey hustle and are decent/below average but where are our dawg defenders? Who can we count on for a stop except for the occasional rim stop. Our perimeter defence and cutting/drive to rim defence is laughable. That said, it sure seems like we have been victim to some hot/lucky bounce shooting lately too.

    The players are exhausted due to the speed at which we play….its constant up and down the floor. All has, no brakes. Running no extended half court offense is taxing over time…
