I’m surprised with some of the comments, we played better tonight i thought.
The biggest issue with this team is their inability to adjust their play to the moment. Everyone just sticks to the same game plan, the same sets, the same motions. They don’t fall back to relying on Coby when he’s shooting hot because the game plan is to play through Vooch and get DeMar his isos.
Guys like Pat and AC get open then pass around the horn because they can’t break a play up just to take a shot.
giving Vuc 20 million for the next 3 years was an awesome signing!
I’m tired
I know it was 2 regimes during this rebuild but I dont understand it or why the fanbase deserved this. They felt Jimmy was not the piece to build around and let him walk for Zach, unsure if they were sold to build around zach or felt like tanking and zach opened their eyes to try build around him, then they do another rebuild around him and it blows up and likely we will go through another rebuild. Feels like this team is in the same rebuild forever now when will the pain stop. My god makes me nervous for the next rebuild they just cant fail at that too when they decide to pull the plug
AKME will look at how we came back down almost 20 and decide he needs to resign Demar and run it back
I was leaning towards the let AKME rebuild the squad side since they came in and built up a decent team (at first) through FA. Usually not something the Bulls historically pull off. But their stubborness to fall victim to sunk cost fallacy tells me they’re not flexible enough to build a long term squad. Probably explains why they went all in on the initial offseason. They made rash short term moves and refuse to admit defeat. Then dragging this team out this long has become unacceptable and how I’d rather see a more sound mind take over for the next rebuild
