As a 49er fan Baker is an awesome QB full of passion and grit, with limited talent. It really pisses me off when he gets called a ‘bust’. Because I would say that every QB in existence drafted onto a 1-31 team would fail. Baker took them to the playoffs and broke rookie records. A down year and they decided the predator was a better fit and they will always regret that. You guys got a QB, he may not be as good as your last one, but he is a good one.

As mentioned lots of brotherly shoves not reflected here. There’s other QB’s you could have chosen.

That said of course its been decent enough for what we needed and more than most expected. For next year there’s other positions to solve.

Extend on a short contract, see if the offense improves and there’s potentially a Goff situation here and if it isn’t there’s future drafts.
