Alcaraz improved in 8 of the 12 big events he played this season. He maintained his form in Madrid by defending his title, and did worse at Miami, US Open and Paris.

In smaller events Alcaraz was similar:

Argentina (250): W (debut)

Rio (500): F (last year W)

Barcelona (500): W (last year W)

Queens (500): W (debut)

Beijing (500): SF (debut)

    His biggest improvement is of course on grass, going from 0(180) last year to a perfect 2500 in two events.

    On other surfaces, he has basically the same amount of points as last season. On clay, He went one round deeper at RG, but lost points overall due to missing some small events.

    On hardcourts, he is also pretty similar, which is not a bad thing since he was really good last season. The struggle on indoors, or the post-USO stretch as a whole continues though, that’s something he will need to work on.
