I feel like the dribble handoff in particular has been super rushed this season as a bit of an over correction for the 1st round playoff loss last season.

I love Domas being aggressive and Fox doing his thing but the hand offs seem weak and rushed this year as an attempt to keep Domas out of foul trouble and the defender off the shooter. Honestly think the better move is to run the handoff like normal but have a counter for the over pursuit by the defense.

This is where off ball movement from Sasha could be a force to be reckoned with and trust in Domas to make the right pass should be a given. Domas has great court vision and passing so lean on it… plus he’s pulling deeper shots and looks more confident when doing so. This also allows Fox options where he isn’t being zoned in on and it would also slow the game down a bit for Huerter who is having a wild stretch of missing shots.
