Need help with two issues I’m having with my iPhone 14.

First issue

I used to be able to install apps from the app store by double pressing the power button. Now the phone prompts me to type in my password.

How can I go back to double pressing the power button to install apps?

Second issue

When trying to reset my password, the iPhone says I can reset my password by entering the same passcode I use to my phone. I’m 100% certain that I am typing in the correct passcode but the phone is not recognising it and saying it’s wrong. Wtf?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I’m about to throw this brick out of the window.
