A year ago I had 24 out of 31 games losses, had almost my all time highest mmr with 5400 and dropped to 4050 in two months. I made a promise to myself if I drop below 4k I will sell my all dota items and uninstall the game, I didn’t, and in three months I had really big gains and did recalibration (old mmr) where I won like 8/10 games and got 5000mmr and climbed up to 5200 and after that came the new mmr system, where I had 30% confident instantly, I played one game and got 5950mmr. So yeah, a lot happened in a half year there lol, from 4k to 6k in half year
