Alongside our players - Mosley has shown a ton of growth as a coach this year. It’s funny that, but he is essentially a rookie head coach and is learning the ropes too.
One thing I’ve noticed lately is his 4th quarter rotations seem to be more on point. He is more willing to make adjustments down the stretch and play with different lineups.
This was evident in last nights game. Isaac subbed in with around 3:30 to go, a lineup we’ve seen a little bit and as fans, we love so far. However, Denver quickly went on a 5-0 run and Mosley quickly subbed Goga back in with around 2:30 to go. We went on to win the game.
Not only that, but I think he’s also realized Paolo/Franz need shooting around them, especially in the 4th. Around the 2 minute mark, Gary Harris subbed in for Cole to give us that little bit of extra spacing.
This is great to see; It has often been complained about by fans.
Huge shout out to coach Mose, he is also killing it this year and is a huge reason for our success.
That move won us the game. Goga was playing much better against Jokic so I’m glad he quickly recognized it wasn’t going to work and put Goga back in.
Great post dude🤙 IMO the best move by coach on the night was subbing JI in with 14 seconds to go. This move right here probably won us the game. Nuggs had a set play for KCP to shoot a 3 in the corner to tie it up. (Probably thought we’d expect them to go to MPJ)
Gordon took the pass in to Jackson and Jackson was angling straight for the pass to KCP (who was trying to time his positioning from the baseline) BUT Judah was there and Jackson thought nope that ain’t gunna work!! Suggs cut him off so Jackson was then forced to come back inside to Joker, P5 got across to prevent a 3 attempt. Joker was forced to drive for a 2. Forced fouls to follow and that’s the game.
COMPLETELY HEALED INTIMIDATING MINISTER OF DEFENSE. Full props to coach for getting JI in at exactly the right time🤘
I have been impressed thus far but he still waits too long to call timeouts. We are a younger team though so maybe he thinks we have better endurance? Regardless we tend to let leads evaporate, and the adjustment is behind. His 4th quarter end of game coaching has really improved though. I would also like to see him get a tech every once in a while, or yell at someone for doing some dumb shit. Fire
Isaac had such a quick hook in the 4th that I thought he was hurt.
Mostly I was just happy to see no Anthony Black in the 4th quarter with the score that tight. Give me Cole all day instead.
Well said💯 Hands down COTY if he keeps it up.
Finally, he decides to coach alll quarters
