How do you get HDR in RDR2 or is it just not working on Steam Deck (yet?)
So far Ive had luck with Cyberpunk, Witcher3 and BG3 all displaying HDR badge, but I haven’t seen found a way to enable HDR in RDR2. The setting isn’t in the same place as it is on console version. Does RDR2 even support HDR on PC?
This is my first time playing RDR2 on PC (in this case Steam Deck) so am less familar with this version.
Yes it does. I’ve gotten as far as getting to show hdr in the menu to enable it using proton experimental, but the display itself doesn’t seem to switch to hdr. I have the same issue with HDR not coming up with Mass Effect LE so I am wondering if it’s an issue with games that have a 3rd party program like EA App and Rockstar App
- Try Proton experimental
- Try this command in the launching options: PROTON_ENABLE_AMD_AGS=1 %command%
Latest Ge Proton caused it to launch with it but default
