6,000$ in grants came from my Alma Mater to pursue my business. Another $15,000 came from an angel investor who believes in what I’m doing.

My company is a year and three months old now, and is continuing to gain traction and popularity.

I have no debt and have recently hired three people to run social medias, marketing, and technical support.

My lessons learned from my young venture, don’t sell yourself short and creativity pays well.

The money raised helped me purchase equipment which doubled the revenue I make. As well, has opened other methods of accruing revenue alongside the venture.

My company is an outdoor excursions and accommodation company. I’m proud of how much this has grown, because it all started from $60.
